Welcome
Ring in the New Year with bells and whistles for each of us has a new beginning.
What are your resolutions? We all make them, from getting up early to loosing those ten pounds we gained from the holidays. This year my writing resolutions are important.
1. To get at least three more stories out.
2. To write at least 2000 words daily
3. Work harder on the grammar part of the craft. ( I hated that in school )
4. To develop free reads for this newsletter that gives you back ground on characters and introduces you to some new ones.
5. To spend more quality time with my family and not short change my readers.
I'll leave it at five and see if I can keep these going. Remember when making your list, resolutions are like suggestions. You keep, you modify, but they should help you become a better you for the next year.
Welcome 2010, may your bless the world with grace and beauty. Humble us with your everyday gifts and make us a better people.

Recommended Reads for January
Pat McDermott 's latest historical romance has really caught my attention.
A sequel to A Band of Roses, the discovery of gas off the coast of Ireland ensnares Irish Crown Princess Talty Boru and her devoted champion, Neil Boru, in a web of blackmail and murder. Intent on convincing County Mayo's residents to allow a pipeline to cross their pristine bog lands, an arsonist is setting homes and land ablaze. One of his fires sends Talty and Neil to an ancient world at the mercy of a waking volcano. While they struggle to outwit a tyrant with a shocking secret, King Brian locks horns with a ruthless tycoon who will stop at nothing to become a high roller in the oil and gas game. The resulting conflict proves fatal for the Boru clan, whose members once again close ranks to thwart the latest threat to the kingdom they are sworn to protect. At over 100 thousand words this work is sure to keep your in your seat glued to the next chapter. 5.99 download at Red Rose Publishing.
Another quick read in the Forever Yours series is this jewel by Cara Preston.
Is there such thing as a soul mate? Trina's divorce has left her shaken and wondering. Then someone comes along who totally blows her away. Ben is different. It's as though he's from another era, but is he? Paranormal events lead her to believe that he is from another time zone. Will she take a chance on him and find love again? Again nearly 14,000 words a 1.99 download from Red Rose Publishing.
